Do you always carry around a gym bag with the same workout clothes and socks you had on recently? Do you re-wear them and exercise in them too? If you answered yes to either question or both, then you should stop. It’s very detrimental to your body. It’s enough that we suffer from acne as teenagers, but do we need them on our body too? That’s what happens if you put on the same workout clothes and socks over and over again.   Just like your face, your body can have clogged pores that produce outbreaks (aka, the evil pimples). The dirt, sweat, and bacteria on your clothing block pores from releasing dead skin cells. This causes acne to form. SWEATY CLOTHES CAN LEAD TO YEAST INFECTIONS The moisture from your re-worn gym clothes and socks can boost yeast infection. Yeast infection is another reason not to repeat the same pieces of clothing after a workout.   Yeast is a fungus that’s naturally found in small quantities inside and around your body. It helps in aiding your digestive and immune systems to do their jobs right. However, it can go out of control, putting your health in danger. 4 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD START SLEEPING WITH SOCKS ON

Winter nights are the best times to stay warm and cozy. To set up the whole mood, you put on your thickest pajamas and socks. Fun fact: Socks don’t only keep you warm but also healthy! Mind blown, right?  Here are 4 reasons why you should start sleeping with socks all the time. 1. SOCKS HELP YOU FALL ASLEEP FASTER Socks put you right to sleep by warming up your feet. You may have always thought that sleeping with socks on can overheat your feet. Not at all. When you go to bed with socks on, your feet and hands warm up and your blood vessels widen, known as vasodilation. Your skin then gives off heat and assists in lowering the body temperature. 7 WAYS TO PREVENT AND TREAT INGROWN TOENAILS

Ingrown toenails are the worst. Your big toes suffer from big red bumps, nails growing into the skin, and a continuous pressing by your shoes and socks. You want to get rid of it so badly, but you’re also scared of having them removed and end up with missing nails. Avoid all that and ease the pain by treating your infected toenails with the 7 treatments listed below. 1. TRIM YOUR TOENAILS PROPERLY Trim your toenails straight across to prevent ingrown toenails. One of the common causes of ingrown toenails is the way you cut your toenails. If they’re not cut properly, they’ll grow in the wrong direction and cause pain. Trim your nails straight across often to avoid getting an ingrown toenail.
