About us

Our story

It all started in 2017 when founders Ralph Haiby and Maya Rafih realized there is a fundamental item of clothing that has been neglected for way too long—socks! They created Sikasok and started designing and producing socks that feel good and look good, giving these simple items of clothing the glory they never had. The brand is growing to include a wide range of designs and collaborations with one common inspiration: cultural context.

Our mission

Rather than designing mere funky socks, our goal is to design socks that make a statement. Our Sikasoks display wild patterns inspired by our heritage and our daily lives, mixed with vibrant, modern colors—they resemble us and we feel confident wearing them.

Our socks

Our Sikasoks are designed and produced in Lebanon. We work hard to constantly make sure they are the best quality possible—this means polyester-free cotton socks, produced ethically and locally by people we trust and who share our values. We also like to pay acute attention to detail, always keeping the consumer in mind. For example, Sikasoks have been carefully studied to convene perfectly to our Middle Eastern climate—both our warm summers and our cold winters.

The founders

Maya is the co-founder and creative director of Sikasok. She also heads distribution in Europe and Egypt. Maya loves to discover new places, not only as a tourist but also as a local, and she has already lived in 8 different cities. Her dream has always been to design products that people use daily and relate to. For her, happiness is the smile on people’s face when they look at a new Sikasok.

Ralph is the co-founder and CEO of Sikasok. His favorite hobbies include couchsurfing, piano, and squash. He loves meeting people, exchanging stories, and solving problems. He strongly believes that happiness is a choice, and is directly affected by a positive mindset and daily gratitude. Sikasok is his mission to spread positivity and confidence, one sock at a time.
